I am spending the week in Portland with my family. It's 45 degrees and cloudy everyday, feels like home and I wouldn't want it any other way!
This last weekend, my Mom and I went to the sewing expo for two days. We took classes, spent all of our money and wandered aimlessly through all the booths. It was awesome!
We met Nancy Zieman, Connie Crawford, Patti Palmer andMarta Alto of Palmer/Pletsch, Elinor Pierce Bailey, and Amy Barickman of Indigo Junction and Sandra Betzina.
Basically, we met all of our crafty/sewing heroes.
Since then, we have just been spending quality time...which is a very unique time in the Kern home. Come over for dinner sometime and you'll see what I mean!
I've been bad and haven't taken many pictures.
Best of all, I'll be home tomorrow and back by T. Reeds side.
Second best...the shop will reopen Wednesday.

I know you love my awesome sideways cell phone pics. You're welcome.
